I don't think she's a 1 at all. Instead I think she's an unhealthy 6. Sexual sixes can use beauty as a source of security and strength. Her looks are what dictates her place in the world and in her marriage and so aging causes her a great deal of insecurity as she gets older. Furthermore she struggles to keep up with the changing societal norms of the 60s and that instability freaks her out.

She is wife (and later ex-wife) of main character Don Draper (Jon Hamm) and mother of his three children. Blonde and beautiful but emotionally distant and immature, she spends the bulk of the series slowly growing as a person amid the social and political turmoil of the 1960s.
