Grumpy Bear's sardonic and often sarcastic attitude usually gives way to his caring nature and heart, not unlike the rain cloud and heart shaped raindrops that make up his belly badge. Grumpy likes to remind kids who are having a bad day that they're always loved, and that it's okay and valid to experience negative feelings such as sadness and anger, as they're simply a normal part of life. He is a master builder and mechanic.
