Biografie
Purple Software, originally named Purple, was launched in 1998 by JUST Co., Ltd., and its brand name comes from Murasaki, a character in *The Tale of Genji*. In 2001, the brand was transferred to Rairii Co., Ltd. (now Clear Blue Communications Co., Ltd.), and changed to its current name. It has several sister brands, including Purple Software Delight.
