Her relationship with Connell in high school is such a typical case of Fi v. Fe conflict. Connell is a people-pleaser who lets social life and and popularity cloud his judgment, with great trouble following his inner desires, whereas Marianne cannot care less about most of her peers think of her. She is upfront, individualistic and rebellious, always speaking her mind despite the sense of inferiority buried deep down in her heart (type 4 problems). I can see her as Sx/Sp 4 although I might need to finish the show before voting. I bit torn between Sx4 and Sp4 at the moment.
