¶ Kim Ledger [Heath's Dad] on his preparation for the Joker: "He would pretty much lock himself in his hotel for a month or so to sort of galvanize the upcoming character in his own mind. That was typical of Heath." Some easily distinguishable traits between the ISFP and the INFP: ¶ ISFPs are kinesthetic learners and instinctual performers. And this is all thanks to their Auxiliary Se playing an authoritative role in their cognitive process. There has to be, first and foremost, a hands on approach to their subject in order for them to fully grasp its meaning. This process is different for the INFP, who has to, first and foremost, ruminate over their subject before they apply a more physical approach. As indicated in the quote above, Heath preferred the INFP approach. ¶ ISFPs are specific and direct speakers, because of their direct and specific Se auxiliary, this is unlike the Ne, which is a very verbal & divergent function, and as such gives high Ne users the rambling trait they possess. Heath exhibited this rambling trait to a high degree. Where the ISFPs Se-Te pairing makes them go straight to the point as they speak, the INFPs Ne-Te pairing provides a plethora of words struggling for space. ¶ Thanks to the INFPs highly unconscious Se and auxiliary Ne, they tend to appear a bit restive or absent-minded when they speak, I noticed this with Heath. This experience is unlike the ISFPs who appear present and attuned to their environment. ¶ Probably doesn't even matter, but I'll put it here anyways, Heath really exhibited the childlike wonder, excitement and curiosity seen in high Ne users. Where high Se users are adventurous and grounded, high Ne users are akin to a child excitedly unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning.
