I'd say he is ENTJ > INTJ. The way he exploits the concept of 'Ego' and attempts to install it into the strikers seems to be a means to the ends of a building a perfect striker, with the ultimate end being the development of the Japanese team. His goal is quantifiable and based on external evidence. How the best teams have a certain 'type' of striker (and the form this striker takes) seems to be something readily observed on his part, as opposed to being purely idealistic. The concept of 'Ego' he is using to mold these strikers is clearly an Ni conclusion. Developing a single universal solution to a problem, which exists outside the typical parameters of the problem, based on impressions received from patterns (he has boiled down the concept of the ego from the general impression he receives from top strikers) is a clear indication of Ni. However, this universal answer isn't as nuanced or detached as would be expected from an Ni dominant. He can break it down into specific and key areas that strikers need to improve in, areas which can be measured and charted, creating a process which will eventually turn out the finished article (Blue Lock). In addition, his goal is essentially the improvement of a system (this system happens to be the Japan team) and he does this with relentless efficiency, designing all aspects of Blue Lock to improve some element of the striker's abilities and 'Ego', with no exceptions.
