Can ENTPs stop claiming every single flirty morally grey extrovert just because you're used to that being your "brand". It's getting tiring like y'all already have so many characters, chill. [plot spoilers below so read with caution] On a more serious note: many people already made this point before me but literally the majority of conflicts between ZZS and WKX are Fe versus Fi. WKX taking everything personally to the point of making ZZS's impending death about HIMSELF being miserable and lonely was a single most relatable Fi user moment I've ever seen. All of his breakdowns and his whole struggle with wanting to be seen and understood, while worrying he won't be accepted and loved for who he truly is, his whole identity crisis based on projections and fears that didn't come true - because ZZS had already seen past his facade - how is any of this Ne-Ti? My close friend is an ENTP and we keep laughing at how WKX is literally the best representation of a mentally unwell ENFP pushed to selfishness and caught in his own projections, unable to see past the personal hurt he'd experienced, but actually craving acceptance and understanding and willing to adapt very quickly once his circumstances change and happiness becomes an option for him. He literally lets go of his meticulously planned revenge once he finds his soulmate and a reason to live - sure, he's still hurt and he still wants to punish those who ruined his life, but he puts it all on hold just to hang out with ZZS and plan their future retirement. Where is his Ti? How are his actions not clearly Fi-driven? How is his breakdown at ZZS' master's grave not a clear Fi moment, where he's forced to acknowledge that the world goes on beyond his early perspective of it, that his experiences with death and cruelty aren't all there is to humanity and that he has to embrace the nuances of life and can't simply rely only on his own point of view. He's having a whole ass crisis because in that moment he realises that he had been blinded by his own emotions and radicalised by how hurt he'd been (and it had been easier for him to label all men as evil in order to punish those responsible for his family's tragedy, otherwise he would've been unable to hurt innocent people in the process), but it's impossible for him to ignore it any longer, now that he's experienced the beauty of the world and has been treated with kindness. But yeah, typical Ne-Ti user behaviour. No Fi in sight. Also, just to add a few things: the fact he didn't accurately predict how ZZS would react to him faking his death. The fact many of their misunderstandings and conflicts were caused by WKX assuming things or projecting his own feelings, often completely off the mark. The fact he constantly compared everything to his own past experiences and feelings, such as him assuming Cheng Ling would hate him and want revenge on him because "he did the same thing to him that had been done to his own family", and so on. The whole dramatic buildup to ZZS discovering his identity as the Valley Chief, when in reality ZZS just went "Bro I been knew, just don't lie to me again." Lord, even his final lie and sacrifice, going against what ZZS would want, risking his life selfishly for someone he loved, even though the person in question clearly didn't want him to sacrifice himself. He knew it, but did it anyway. ENFP villains (or at least morally grey ENFPs) are already quite rare, because it usually takes a lot to give a Ne-Fi user such tunnel vision that they'd commit attrocities without seeing the bigger picture or experiencing guilt. They have to either be very egocentric, have an altered set of values or a very strong personal goal (such as saving someone they love, no matter the cost). That's why I think in fiction it's easier to come across ENFP tragic heroes than actually malicious villains. Unless of course we take a Chaotic Evil ENFP who didn't give a shit from the start, but it's clearly not the case with WKX. Honestly I don't even know what else to add because there's been other comments on the topic, but please look me in the eye, compare WKX to actual ENTP villains/tragic heroes and tell me he's not a strong Fi user. ++ In my opinion, WKX and ZZS have the shadow ENFP/INFJ soulmate thing going on where they're opposites and at the same time their values and emotional needs still mysteriously align. If WKX was an ENTP who really "doesn't care and just wants to watch the world burn for no reason", ZZS would simply beat him up for being a menace to society and that would be it. But sure, argue he's an ENTP just because he fits the stereotype (morally grey, capable of plotting and manipulalting events, seemingly unpredictable, gay, extroverted and flirty). Smh
