Yeah this guy definitely seems like an Ne Dominant or at the very least an Ne user. I've already written on why I think he has high Fi and low Te but now I'm gonna try to go a little deeper into his personality based on the small amount that we've been given about him. Dominant Ne:- The environment must be inferred for alternative possibilities: Honestly I'm not sure that I even should say much about this lol. The whole game is about him trying to infer alternative possibilities in his surroundings to get him towards an ending where both he and his wife are happy. Also if we believe the theory that these loops he goes through are him trying to imagine a possibility where he can be with his half-sister without the outside world ever getting in the way > You do have a remarkable imagination. The stories you've created... Auxiliary Fi:- Throughout the entire game, this man is trying to go with his desires. All of his choices give you at least one option to go with what your heart says and ignore rational thought (IE, There is no way that his relationship with his Half-Sister will ever work). The man also gets easily annoyed when he does something he deems to be morally wrong. When you get past the main ending and his wife asks him to leave, you can leave the building but the loop continues and his first exclamation is of annoyance that even though he did the right thing, the world still restarted. Secondly, if he hides in the closet and watches his wife die, the moment he comes out, his first words are that he should have done something and he scolds himself. > but believing them so strongly, so deeply is unhealthy... Tertiary Te:- Finding relief in organizing the environment: Not much to add here. He generally is trying to organise the possibilities of his future to try to find one that turns out successful. Also the game is really insistent about teaching him that there sometimes we have to let go what our heart tells us if it's objectively the best decision for everyone. (This is actually one of the reasons that I think he could also be INFP because of his insane Fi-Te imbalance.) > You have to let her go. You can't keep obsessing over her... Inferior Si:- Inferior Si can be seen in the fact that he's so willing to ignore the past if it goes against these ideal futures he's trying to imagine. He has to understand that all that occured in the past makes it impossible for him to ever be happy in the way he's proceeding and he has to come to terms with that. However, the entire story is him trying to reject all this and go through as many loops as possible to look for a happy ending that doesn't exist > Sometimes things just are what they are. It's time for you to wake up. > If I could go back, things would be different but that's not how life works. We only get one shot at this. (The quote is by his father but it still applies)
