I don't see Ti-dom on him. He's not exactly an analytical fellow, even if he fits the "vibes" that people have of an ISTP. I'd see him as either a particularly mellow and sensitive ISTJ, or a particularly stoic ISFP. It's interesting that he's quite willing to share personal experiences to help others with emotional issues, and has a grounded view of things. I tend more towards ISFP, as I think his emotional side outweighs everything else, but it's a bit complicated, admittedly.
