i believe he is 8 because he hates being seen as weak, and tends to general take control or lead of others. a toxic/unhealthy 8 may beat people up but the aspects of him disliking weakness and being generally assertive stand out. to keep in mind that generally all characters in the show are unhealthy to an extent is important. a wing 9 might make sense as to why people see e6 due to the similarities of the 3,6,9 triad. joe might be motivated mostly to seek control in his environment due to an absent young father and during the beginning, his biological mother. a wing 7 makes sense because he seeks the playful environment in times where hes unsure of his own security
