A prime example of the SStfS typings being off. There is no "thinking" in Dorothy's decision making, her choices are not based in logic nor fact, but entirely on her feelings. Dorothy being an intelligent woman doesn't mean she uses said intelligence for her decision making, she has shown time and time and time again that she will forego the smart choice in favor of the one that feels right to her.
