Roman Catholic Church — Fe (Catholicity) The word "Catholic" means universal, or simply, for everyone. The Catholic Church's faith is directed towards universality, not limiting itself to a closed group or individualism. Historically, the Church has always sought to reach people from all cultures, engaging in missions, public relations, and diplomacy, as commanded: "Go and evangelize all nations." In addition to its commitment to moral values, mercy, and charity, which emphasize Christian virtues, the Church demonstrates a feeling-based judgment, strongly reflecting the dominant function of Fe. — Ni (Faith and Hope) The designs of God are, by nature, mysterious. Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to guide, direct, and support the Holy Church, granting clarity and virtues in an extraordinary manner. Theology uses reason in an intuitive way, interpreting patterns and symbols that go beyond sensory perception. Mystical practice and the deepening of mysteries and doctrine also require an intuitive approach. Constant spiritual practice is necessary to achieve an understanding beyond mere sensory perception, showing a strong inclination towards Ni, which prioritizes the transcendent over the immediate present, serving as the auxiliary function of Fe. — Se (Charity) Although the Church’s main focus is the dissemination of faith (Fe) and the spiritual practice of the faithful (Ni), it also deals with temporal and material issues. It has been responsible for the creation of universities and hospitals, as well as establishing various asylums, schools, and orphanages. Faith demands feeding the hungry and caring for the sick. The Church also values sensory aspects: the use of images, the richness of liturgy, architecture that reaches the heavens, singing, iconography, incense, and sacramental elements (such as baptismal water and the bread and wine of the Eucharist). These characteristics demonstrate a clear tertiary inclination towards Se. — Ti (Mercy) Although the Church (especially in the West) has always shown a strong logical inclination in understanding faith, as evidenced by scholasticism, its approach to faith has never been individualistic. Faith has always been superior, and reason is merely a tool to reach it. Many truths are incomprehensible to humans (the mysteries), and it would be absurd to claim that only what can be understood by human reason exists. The Church, as mother and teacher of truth, values a virtuous and devout soul more than an impious mind that dominates all knowledge. Often, the Church exalts compassion and mercy, showing an inclination towards Ti 𝕳𝖊𝖑𝖘𝖎𝖓𝖌

The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church, is the largest Christian church, with 1.3 billion baptised Catholics worldwide as of 2019. As the world's oldest and largest continuously functioning international institution, it has played a prominent role in the history and development of Western civilisation. The church consists of 24 particular churches and almost 3,500 dioceses and eparchies around the world. The pope, who is the bishop of Rome, is the chief pastor of the church. The bishopric of Rome, known as the Holy See, is the central governing authority of the church. The administrative body of the Holy See, the Roman Curia, has its principal offices in Vatican City, a small enclave of the Italian city of Rome, of which the pope is head of state.
