I can self-testify that this is true as someone who is perfectionistic, especially with regards to the need to be perfect with our words and the (subjective) quality of our intellectual and creative work. INFPs may also be perfectionists regarding relationships, as in they like to make sure they are the perfect partner for their lover and expect the same back. Both Fi and Ti as a dominant function are easily susceptible towards quixotic perfectionism, due to the importance on subjective frameworks (e.g. Ti's logical framework vs Fi's integrity/belief-driven framework).
