He is not Ti-Se, he is Ti-Ne. And this is my explaining: (I'll just talk about the tv series.) -SPOILER ALERT- 1.) When we look at Black Noir's - Earving's past, we see that he has suffered a major injury. Earving said he didn't want to wear a mask. But he had to wear it. (He probably lost his ability to speak as a result of the injury) When we look at all this, we see that Black Noir is masked and silent because he had to become this way. These are completely humane choices. For this reason I cannot comment on any functions. 2.) The fact that Black Noir follows Butcher's footsteps silently, never reveals his colors, and always remains loyal to his duty is a sign that he is a Ti dom. (Which we agree on) You may think that he is a Se because he has ninja features. But Supes don't choose their superpowers. 3.) I guess I don't need to talk about the Ne effect he experienced when he was afraid of Soldier Boy and went back to the orphanage where he grew up. Also we saw him being silly in parties. Also when he hugs the Homelander, his animations became Hearts. He has a strong Ne, actually and only his animations also enough to prove it.
