Personalidade

"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Cassius au Bellona? Cassius au Bellona es un tipo de personalidad ESFP en mbti, 7w8 - sp/so - en enneagram, SLUEN en Big 5, en Socionics."

*Lightbringer Spoilers Ahead* I agree that Cassius is ESFP. I think that Se-Fi is fairly evident throughout the series, and the conflict he has with Darrow is primarily a clash of Fi-Ti (as I believe Darrow is an ESTP). In the first series, he and Darrow bond over shared Se-dominance. This is fairly obvious in first half of the first book. After this, he cannot condone that Darrow has hidden his role in Julian's death from him. This is despite this being the rules of the game, and the logical thing to do (perhaps suggesting Ti-blindspot, although I must admit this is not the strongest argument). I believe that deep down, he knows his condemnation of Darrow is unjust, and this sends him into a Se-Te loop for much of the first, second, and up until the end of the third book. In this loop, he is achieving societal status and value efficiently (speeding through dueling circuits, becoming an Olympic knight) through Se means, essentially fighting and charming his way up the societal ladder. Te through Se means. I can see how this could be framed as Fe through Se means, but I believe his later actions tip the scale in favour of ESFP over ESTP. By the end of the third book, his begins to come out of his Se-Te loop for Fi reasons, he cannot condone the actions of the Sovereign anymore, and turns to Darrow's side. But I believe the second series really makes his functions clear. He is in a deep Ni-grip in Iron Gold. This has led to his alcoholism and desire to disappear into space, essentially. His turning back to Darrow's side represents him coming out of this grip and getting back in touch with both Se (how he can affect the world around him) and Fi (his own morals). In Lightbringer, he is slowly becoming healthier and healthier, just as Darrow is getting in touch with his own Ni. Their similar cognition means that they help each other with this. His obsession with honour and being seen as the hero, and essentially his moral absolutism in this book compared to Darrow's pragmatism showcase his Fi nicely. He slowly becomes his former self: fun, honourable, and action-oriented. His death highlights his Se-Fi cognition: he acts based upon personal values uncompromisingly, despite Lysander (and the audience) begging him to choose another path. I can see why he may be typed ESTP, but I believe that he shows very little Ti. He does show some Fe, but I think a stronger argument could be made for Se-Fi-Te-Ni, and believe he shows all of these functions. He is charming, but ESFPs can be very charming, and Se-Fi can look a lot like Fe. Edit: I also think Lysander is INTJ (much like Augustus Caesar, whom I think he is meant to be modelled after in some senses). This dual-relationship/flipped cognition may explain why they can both understand the other so well, yet get consistently frustrated by each other's choices. Cassius is essentially trying to get Lysander to choose Fi over Te in Lightbringer, and is unaware of just how much Lysander has develoepd his Te in Cassius's absence.

Biografia

Cassius au Bellona is a Gold of the Martian house Bellona, the son of their leader Tiberius. He's shown to be arrogant and careless, but values the people he keeps close. He is the favorite of his family; his twin brother, Julian, was killed in the Passage, while his older brother, Karnus, is portrayed as the 'monster' that cleans up family business.
