Watching seasons 1-3 right now. A scene that really stands out is when he's on the couch crying and saying that he runs around trying to make everyone else happy. After that he keeps caving in to what others want and keeps sacrificing his own happiness. Being people-pleasing is the burden of being Fe Dominant or Auxiliary. He overthinks everything (Ti>Te). He seems too detail oriented to be an intuitive type. He teaches and emphasizes traditional Family Values to his son. Many of the gags on the show revolve around him being uncomfortable around unconventional people. Edit--In later seasons he changes and acts more and more like a scumbag, especially compared to Walden.
