Personalidade

"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Genji Shimada? Genji Shimada es un tipo de personalidad ISFP en mbti, 9w8 - sp/sx - 947 en enneagram, SCUAI en Big 5, ESI en Socionics."

GENJI IS A SP4. Hanzo: “we could have built an empire together!” Genji: “that was your dream… not mine.” Genji is a chill Sp4, he seems too focused on his identity and self-discovery to be 9 core. 4s like me with 7 and 9 fixes tend to be more easygoing and hedonistic than the average 4, and I think a 9 wouldn’t have focused so intensely on his own identity or ideals. I know Sp9s can be much more rebellious than the average 9 but it always seemed to me that his rebellion against Hanzo and the Shimada Clan was more out of a sense of “this is who i am, and i will stubbornly refuse to be someone i am not, or be the person you want me to be” which is far more 4 core than anything. I have a hard time seeing Genji’s self-forgetfulness or attachment triad qualities at his core, even from a Sp9 standpoint. Anybody can enjoy “childlike pursuits” like video games and eating ramen noodles, he was a silly child like all of us were lmao. I feel like PDB acts like all 4s have tragic abusive childhoods where they never had fun, but no that is not (ALWAYS) the case. is anyone else seeing the blatant 1 integration he enters through meeting with Zenyatta? also note some of his very 4-like voice lines before matches: Genji in Numbani: “even here, i feel an outcast…” Genji in Nepal: “only here do i not feel an outcast.”

Biografia

A Cyborg Ninja and member of Overwatch. Originally the lazy younger son of the master of the Shimada Ninja clan, Genji Shimada was raised to be a skilled Ninja with his brother Hanzo, but wasn't interested in his family's illegal business. Tension built between Genji and the clan until eventually the clan Elders pressured Hanzo into a violent confrontation with his younger brother. Nearly killed by his injuries, he was rescued by Overwatch, but just barely. The damage that had been done was so severe that they offered to rebuild his body through extensive cyberization in exchange for his help in the dismantling of his former clan. In the years that followed, Genji became a successful agent within Overwatch as a member of their global task force assigned to Blackwatch under Gabriel Reyes. Over time, however, he began to feel extremely conflicted with what he had become. Feeling alone in the world and unable to come to grips with his mechanical body, he abandoned Overwatch before its eventual dissolution. He drifted from one place to another, looking for meaning until eventually, he met Zenyatta the omnic monk. Through Zenyatta's teachings, Genji was slowly able to come to terms with his half-man-half-machine existence and feel at peace with himself.
