"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Mother Gothel? Mother Gothel es un tipo de personalidad ESTJ en mbti, 3w2 - sx/sp - 386 en enneagram, SLOEN en Big 5, ESE en Socionics."

This may be a bit of a hot take, but please hear me out. ⭐️ I believe she is an ESTJ 3w2 but tries to act like an ESFJ 2w3. When you think about it, a person can act however they want, right? Actors portray characters of different types without actual being that type, and PDB even has a way to compare characters to their actors side by side, which is quite useful. I also play many different types as D&D characters. In fact, I have even played at least one of each MBTI and enneagram type as a character. This also extends to façades created to trick others. For example, in Star Wars, “Sheev Palpatine (His facade)” actually has a profile of its own, typed as an INFJ 1w2 when the man behind it (Emperor Palpatine “Darth Sidious”) is actually an INTJ 3w2. “Mother” Gothel was never who she actually was. I made a whole post previously about her thought processes and core fears, desires, etc., but there is no doubt that she did indeed create a false persona to trick Rapunzel. It’s not THAT far off, though. “Mother Knows Best” might be the most 2-pride song in existence, though it does not come from a genuine place but an illusion to aid in her true vice of deceit, and the flattery she bestows upon Rapunzel serves her true ego fixation of vanity (but Rapunzel didn’t know that). I have no doubt in my mind that on some level, she truly did care about Rapunzel in her own twisted way, so it may be partially genuine, and again, not all that dissimilar. It can be difficult to type 3s in general, but it would be especially difficult to type a 3 with Narcissistic Personality Disorder who not only puts up a false face, but does so extensively and really stresses it. I get that this is a bit much, but many have had experiences with similar individuals who pretend to be something they’re not, often even more different than Gothel’s façade. In conclusion, I believe she is a great example of a Te-dominant ESTJ 3w2 who does a tremendous job of seeming like an ESFJ 2w3, but it is more like playing a character loosely based on herself rather than her true self.
