I thought "Ah, INFJ" several times while rewatching, but now, looking back, INTJ somehow seems more likely. The first thing that came to mind was the scene where she slaps four maids in a row after a shoe is stolen from Sook-hee. She doesn't even want to know the motive, but curses. In another scene where Sook-hee is massaging her feet and Hideko wants to find out in a very Ni way if Sook-hee loves her too and instead finds that Sook-hee continues to stick to her deceitful plan, she gets angry and slaps Sook-hee several times, only to forcibly lock her in her cabin, get the thick rope from the closet and trying to hang herself. These two scenes in particular feel more like Ni-Te than Ni-Fe. Somehow so ... decisive, controlling, impulsive. Not really empathetic. But we have to take into account that she had a terrible childhood. Difficult case. . . . Before they flee, Hideko wants to show Sook-hee the library of these books she has had to read to those wealthy men since she was young. She seems unsure how best to show Sook-hee what has been done to her and simply waits until Sook-hee continues to leaf through, comes across pictures and figures it out on her own. While Sook-hee flips out and lets her emotions rage, Hideko stays quietly in the background, watching in awe as one book after another is torn apart. Here, she somehow seemed more like an INFJ, overcome with emotion; a little unsure of what to do. Also, she doesn't jump over the wall by herself, but waits a bit uncertainly and lets Sook-hee help her. Not that INFJ's are more insecure than INTJ's, but I think she would have reacted more decisively with Te-Fi. What now? . . . No, I've got it now. It's INTJ. Fujiwara let Hideko in on his plan for how they could escape together with her fortune. Do you remember the maid before Sook-hee? They had to get rid of her (I actually don't remember why), but they had to get rid of the maid, and Hideko allows the maid to be seduced and groped by the sleazy Fujiwara. She watches through a hole as Fujiwara satisfies his lust. Practically anything goes for her to carry out their plan. Te > Fe. . . . Or, as a possible INFJ, was she simply so desperate to get away from her prison that she practically didn't care about the welfare of the maids? . . . Ah, I don't know. But I'm leaning more towards INTJ. I mean, the whole game with plan and counterplan. INTJ, so be it.
