DEVELOPER COMMENTARY SPOILERS (and Downpour spoilers of course): --- Andrew: Rivulet starts out with The Mark, but I don't view them as necessarilly having been raised or trained as a messenger by an iterator similarly to Hunter or Spearmaster. They've made contact with one for sure, though. Andrew: Rivulet is an adventurous, curious, and agile slugcat that travels long distances across the land, and I imagine they've gotten into all sorts of wacky adventures even prior to the start of their campaign. Andrew: Proceeding to now eviscerate the zombified corpse of a giant biological supercomputer and revitalize the broken body of a fallen God? Andrew: ...Maybe that's just another day in the life of Rivulet. --- Although little of that seems to be conveyed in-game, it matches the description of having a high perceiving function such as Ne. The community depiction fits well too, with Rivulet often being depicted as overly curious, hyperactive, and sometimes clumsy. Rivulet's hyper-mobility would also be very conducive to a "curious cat" lifestyle. It isn't said whether Rivulet is a purposed organism sent on a mission, but the only other Slugcat sent on a mission was Spearmaster; and in one of the lore pearls it's mentioned that Spearmaster had their animal instincts suppressed by the pearl. This is not necessarily true for Rivulet; it may be the case they're doing this out of their own volition. For me, it's a hard pick between ENFP/ENTP. Both types can be empathetic. I'm leaning towards ENFP because Fi/Te could be helping drive them to complete the mission. Though, an argument could be made for ENTP because exploring, understanding, and helping iterators seems Ne/Ti/Fe; although, we don't really see much Ti coming from these silent creatures. Sp also doesn't make much sense to me? I mean, Rivulet literally dove into The Rot to help Pebbles. Edit: ESFJ could also be a match for this description but I'm not sure how Si would fit into the equation here. (Note this is also my first post on this website; I'd like feedback and anybody to point out any glaring errors!)
