"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es William Rex? William Rex es un tipo de personalidad ENTJ en mbti, 7w8 - - en enneagram, en Big 5, en Socionics."
WARNING: Spoilers William still had enough energy to socialize after going to the theatre with Kate and I feel like there is barely anything more extroverted than socializing at nighttime after a long (?) day, so he is probably an extrovert. I forgot the exact wordings but Kate mentioned that his room didn't look lived-in, like he wasn't there most of the time which also supports extroverted argument while also adding Ni/Se. Ni/Se often neglect self-care, forgetting to sleep or eat, which makes sense of why his room was that way. From here we got ENXJ. Fe makes sense from how he mentioned that he was aware of what people needed from a young age. If we dig further into his character, though, we would find out that the reason he didn't abuse his power was because he loved seeing people being true to themselves. He didn't want to influence people to feel certain ways, he was giving them means to be themselves, feeling whatever they wanted to feel. That sounds more like Fi than Fe. If he is an ENTJ then his Te should be apparent but Japan has a thing about tuning out Te in female-aimed works. Te characters in such cases tend to behave gentlemanly instead of being brash/to the point, which is probably why I can't really see Te in his speech. Enneagram 7 probably got votes from how he was presented initially. He wanted to let people pursue whatever they want ("is that what your heart desires?"). He thought 'people shined the brightest when they made up their own minds and followed their hearts.' He also thought he wanted to see 'the beauty of the moment it (people following their hearts) was released'. He even added that he didn't care whether it will ruin the person or not ('whether it be happiness or misfortune for her'). This makes him sound like a hedonist who didn't care about consequences of his actions but after his route I think everyone will agree it doesn't describe William. He refused to receive love from people he had helped because receiving it will drag them to the path of destruction, which according to Kate will rob those people of their freedom. 'Whether it be happiness or misfortune for her' part is a lie because he actually cared. He went to Tower of London for the same reason. This didn't negate 7 argument, though, so I would like to take it from another angle. In the past William used his power to kill his own dad. The reason was because his dad was involved in a criminal organization and he was forced to watch his friend died because he was trying to save him. He was living comfortably, being a noble and all, but he decided to involve himself in the shady part of the world, even if it means going against his parents. Leaving his comfortable world to do something extraordinary sounds like the description of enneagram 1. Coincidentally this type also goes toward 7 when they are healthy. Between seeing the beauty people release when they follow their hearts (7) or purge evil with evil (1), purging evil with evil seems to be a stronger desire in William. He was willing to used his powers (which took away people's autonomy) if it would help him purge evil. Meanwhile, he stopped Kate who was following her heart by choosing to love him. I'm more inclined to say that he is a healthy 1 going to 7 rather than an unhealthy 7 going to 1. I'm not sure what wings he has though. I may revisit this later when I understand the differences better.
