Se- To me, she's quite literal in her thought process. A common conflict point between Asa and Makio is that Asa struggles to take things beyond face value and sometimes hurts Makio unknowingly with her bluntness. In her most immature moments in the story, Se is the part of her personality that shines the brightest. Fi- Definitely Fi > Fe. She may search for a lot of external information regarding feelings; however, I would say she doesn't use those feelings in her lifestyle. She compares her own internal values with external ones and tries to figure out why her feelings differ instead of taking on those external values. She really struggles with empathy and putting herself into other people's shoes, which helps put her into conflict with an INTP like Makio. Te- Asa respects structure. One of her early issue points is that she feels she has to know what her parents felt about her and what those feelings mean for her. She goes to other people and asks them about their parents because she seeks an understanding of how her parents should function in a family. That need to understand the outlining details of her life is sometimes a weak point for Asa. She also tries to maintain her surroundings with some degree of organization compared to Makio, which isn't saying much, but you get the point. Through music, you can see her develop a singular conduit to express those pent-up and difficult-to-communicate ideas that have been plaguing her. They confuse her, and she doesn't take to them comfortably. Her weak Ni also shows in her data processing. She takes in a lot of information, but her weaker Te and Ni make it hard for her to understand what to do with the information she discovers.
