Okay. I was already fairly certain he was a dominant Se user and inferior Ni user because of his impulsive behavior that comes out of lack of plan or intuition, which separates him from Leona. I only deemed him as ESXP, but now I think ESTP makes a lot more sense. Not only is his power Laugh With Me a result of unhealthy Fe usage (he manipulates other people by getting them to do what he does), he also appears to have a solid combination of Ti-Fe. He uses his Ti to point out odd contradictions and flaws on statements and then looks into the person’s perspective in order to come up with a justification is to why they think that way. Here’s an example where Ruggie analyzes Leona’s thought process R: Geez, Leona. You were the one goin’ on about how fighting with magic was against the rules, and then you went and used your own! L: I used magic as a last resort to stop a dorm brawl. That falls under legit self-defense. R: Yeah, sure. Whatever you say. You brought some rebellious dorm kids in one line and put a promising freshman in your debt. Ruggie, having more Fe than Leona, is able to read through him and point the inconsistencies in his argument.. Not in a way that questions the logic, but in a way that questions the intent. Leona with lower Fe is trying to justify with logic only, saying it was a ‘last resort’ even when Ruggie knows plain well he did it to protect Jack and not himself. There’s also this one quote that really stood out to me from Ruggie. R: The world’s not black and white. Not everything can be categorized as “right” or “wrong”. While certainly some Fi-Te users might be able to come up with this basis, the biggest part of Fi is a strong sense of morals— the ability to tell right from wrong. Ruggie, able to see the ‘gray’ in every situation, appears to me as more of a Ti and Fe user— able to pinpoint small increments of logic one might not catch firsthand while also showing openmindedness when it comes to the basis of feeling involved; why people do the things they do
