From what I remember ES(F) SO8 makes the most sense. She was very oriented to the physical world and in her books there is lots of emphasis on concrete sensory experiences. Auxiliary feeling is obvious in how focused she is on feeling values. She always placed feelings and values over any kind of logic. As for E8, the lust passion is probable, considering her need for constant stimulation and pursuit of physical enjoyment. Social instinct being first makes sense as well, due to her primary focus being on other people and how she fits into everything. She placed great emphasis on her roles in her family and community, and was very oriented to others and her relationships. SO8 seems to be the subtype that fits best, considering her frequent indignation toward injustice and her focus on others and their needs. She expressed displeasure from a young age at the settlers' treatment of Native Americans and was upset with her mother for endorsing this treatment. "They're people with families just like us" was Laura's mentality. This also ties in to her auxiliary feeling, instinctively putting herself in the place of others no matter how different they are. She also showed great rebellion and impulsivity from a young age. She didn't accept the restrictions put on her and had a dislike for authority. In the later books she struggled in her relationship with Almanzo because she knew she was supposed to be an obedient and doting wife, but her instincts told her to protest his treatment of her when he continuously lied to her. She's a very good example of a healthy 8 in my opinion.
