He's so Fe it hurts If anyone tries to argue he's anything other than Fe-dom I will eat my own hair (jk) I actually have thought his entire character through but none of them are sticking to my brain right now so unfortunately there will no be any deep analysis atm He does have a lot of those flashbacks (getting into spoiler territory here) and obviously he is influenced a lot by his past, but not in a very Si way, if that makes sense? The flashbacks could be attributed more to PTSD or something similar to it more than Si. I don't actually understand the Ni function very well, but coming from an ISTJ, I see no Si in him. So, by process of elimination, he's ENFJ.
