"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Josslyn Jacks? Josslyn Jacks es un tipo de personalidad ISFP en mbti, 8w9 - sx/sp - en enneagram, en Big 5, en Socionics."
“I want so badly to believe in justice and doing the right thing, but it’s like the rest of the world isn’t on board.” I think Josslyn is an Fi-dom - She says the above quote after expressing frustration that people like Esme and Sonny “get a free pass” while good people like Trina or Diane end up getting hurt. I see how she might seem like an Fe inferior in comparison to characters like Cam or Trina who often want to keep the peace and are sometimes uncomfortable with Josslyn’s bluntness, but rather than blatantly sharing her logical take on things, Josslyn is always taking the moral high ground. She has to say what she believes is right or wrong. She has to stand up to Esme and “call Esme out for the snake she is” and she’s disgusted when Spencer won’t do the same thing because she thinks it’s wrong that he won’t stand up for Trina. She and Trina initially clash about Esme because, while Trina also sees through Esme, Trina wants to accept Esme’s fake apologies for the sake of keeping the peace, but Josslyn can’t bear to do that. This leads to Trina becoming angry with Josslyn for how she handles the situation, and while Josslyn wants to fix things with Trina, she refuses to apologize for standing up to Esme because she believes she did the right thing. When Cam points out how Josslyn can “really hold a grudge” Josslyn responds by saying “Only when people deserve it” and she gets upset when Cameron acts as if they should be nice to Esme and keep the peace because “Esme doesn’t deserve it”. She also tells Trina that Spencer “doesn’t deserve” her friendship and chooses to cut Spencer off completely. She’s disgusted with Sonny for betraying “everything he was supposed to stand for” and she pulls no punches when telling someone how immoral of a person she thinks Sonny is. She initially was disgusted by Dex doing things like helping Sonny pressure the jury during Trina’s trial, and she says the reason she started to see him differently is because he kept doing the “right” thing: “You know, when we first met, I definitely judged the type of person I thought you were. But then you kept surprising me, and doing the right thing when I least expected it.” I agree that she's a high Se user - Characters often say how similar she and Carly are due to how present-oriented they can be. In Josslyn's words: “Mom and I - We react in the moment. We think on our feet. We take big and seemingly stupid chances. Sometimes they pay off. Sometimes they don’t. But the point is, we’re improvisers.” Also I think we see her Ni child function a lot with how confident she is about her impressions of people and their motives - She often feels like she can see through people or predict what they’re going to do, but more specifically, she quickly decides whether or not someone is a good or bad person. She often refers to people as good, great, etc. and it’s always in reference to their moral character (“So many people, so many >good< people have been defending Sonny for so long. Someone has to take him down.”) She defends Trina by saying “she knows what’s right from wrong.” She describes her mother and Jason as “incredible people” and she gets upset when people describe Sonny as someone of good moral character (“Oh, please! Sonny has never been an honorable man!” / “What kills me is that his justification was always how great of a man Sonny was.”) Above all else, Josslyn lives by her own moral code regardless of whether or not others agree with her beliefs or approve of her choices. I think ISFP fits her a lot better than ISTP.
