Semen Andreyevich Elistratov , in Russian : Семён Андреевич Елистратов , born May 3, 1990 in Ufa, is a Russian short track speed skater. Semen Elistratov participated in the short track speed skating events at the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver . He finished 24th in the 500 metres, 1000 metres and 1500 metres races [ 1 ] . He won two silver medals in the 1500 and 3000 meters at the 2012 European Championships held in Mlada Boleslav [ 2 ] , [ 3 ] . He won the gold medal in the men's relay at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . In 2017, he finished fourth in the second round of the 2017-2018 World Cup [ 4 ] . He won the bronze medal in the 1500m at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang competing under the banner "Olympic athlete from Russia" [ 5 ] . At the 2021 World Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Dordrecht , he won a bronze medal in all events and in the 1500 meters and a silver medal in the 500 meters. At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing , he won the Olympic bronze medal in the 1500 meters [ 6 ] .
