Personalidade

"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Hiromi Higa (Shadow)? Hiromi Higa (Shadow) es un tipo de personalidad ESFJ en mbti, 8w7 - sx/so - 873 en enneagram, SLUAN en Big 5, en Socionics."

Edit: It should be ESFJ 3w2 (not 8w7 lol), people think “oh he’s doing exciting stuff and plays rough so he’s immediately an Se-dom” without looking into this man’s everyday life and values at all. He’s constantly concerned about his good name and reputation in the non-S world (3), not about keeping stuff under control because weakness can lead to danger or misfortune (8). The wing 2 speaks for itself I guess, it shows many many times throughout the series. Saying that “voting ESFJ is ridiculous, you only voted that ‘cause he can also be nice” makes no sense. Shadow persona aside, Hiromi is definitely an ESFJ. Shadow is solely an outlet for Hiromi’s suppressed frustrations. His Fe dom is so obvious. First off, Fe can be presented in multiple ways. His Fe might not be because he wants to make everyone happy and make sure there’s harmony, but because he wants to be seen as perfect (the reason why he desperately hides the fact he’s Shadow at S during the day). Compare him to Cherry when it comes to this. Kaoru hides his Cherry persona from a professional point of view, he has a good job and simply thinks being associated with his nocturnal hobby could cause his clients to have less trust in him. Hiromi however is low-key ashamed of what he does at night. If people find out he’s bombing people while dressed up on a skateboard, that makes him seem much less like the ideal model-citizen he pretends to be during the day. The model citizen who’s loved and respected by everyone. Hiromi also treats his clients differently than Kaoru does for example. Kaoru is faking it all day, he’s wearing his costumer service smile and only cares about the essence of his job: the calligraphy and the money. Meanwhile Hiromi is good at bonding with clients, his will to make them happy and provide good service to them is natural and extremely genuine. I know out of real-life experience that ESFJs often do what people asked them to because their feelings are gnawing at them, even if they don’t want to do it lol. For example: Shadow driving everyone around in his car all the time. Or babysitting the boys because that’s what his crush expected him to do and he needs to keep up his perfect reputation (Fe!). He doesn’t want to do it, yet keeps doing it because it’s what’s expected of him/he doesn’t wanna let people down ‘cause that makes him feel uneasy. ESFJs care a lot about ‘duty’ and other people’s opinions on them. His Fe is so strong and is obviously his dominant function, y’all just have a super stereotypical idea of what Fe is… Now, Shadow is a character we’ve seen on screen much less than Reki, Langa, Adam etc. so the other functions might be harder to explain. Not completely impossible, but harder than his ridiculously obvious dominant Fe function. There is Si in him, it’s hard to explain with examples but knowing how he is his Si is definitely stronger than his Se. He won’t just go out without a plan and see where he ends up, he’s careful not to make mistakes (such as spoiling who he is at night) and relies on past experiences for that. Once again, not apparent in Shadow but it is in Hiromi. I just wish to see more of him in future seasons so this becomes more clear. Ne in terms of how he has many unrealistic expectations and can overreact/become extremely emotional when surprised or stressed. Like the way he reacted when Cherry told him Reki would take his place in the tournament. ESFJs are usually calm, but can get quite mad and loud when presented with events or opinions they do not agree with. But to go in depth about this function, I once again need to see more of him. But GOD is that Fe dom clear!

Biografia

Hiromi lives something of a double life. During the day, he works at a florist's shop where he is kind to the customers and maintains a positive energy. In the evening, he participates in "S" as Lord Shadow, the self-proclaimed anti-hero of the "S" races. In contrast to his florist persona, Hiromi is arrogant and rude under the guise of Shadow, aiming to entertain the crowd with his tricks. Source: SK8 the Infinity Wiki.
