Chris tipo de personalidade mbti

Personalidade

"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Chris? Chris es un tipo de personalidad ESFP en mbti, - - en enneagram, en Big 5, en Socionics."

I might be wrong but i’m quite convinced he’s an ESFP. I think before he falls in love with Kim and finds out what she’s been through, he’s in a Se-Te loop. This is a quote that showcases his thoughts while he’s on loop, or actually as he starts to come out of the loop: “Sure, Saigon is corrupt. It felt better to be here driving for the embassy. Cause here if you can pull a string, a guy like me lives like a king, just as long as you don’t believe anything”: So basically, Chris is highly aware of the situation in Saigon and how the locals are being mistreated (Se). He doesn’t even try to deny how things are, or to justify the reality idealistically (no Ne or Ni being used whatsoever). Instead, he decides to work for the embassy, because as long as he knows how to control/manage things from inside (Te), he’ll get to live comfortably and free of worries (again, unhealthy Se). He states that as long as his morals and beliefs don’t get in the way, he could easily live like that. This is the best example of how he ignored his Fi while living in Saigon. His pragmatic approach to a comfortable survival (fueled by Se-Te) allowed him to avoid feeling guilty about what he was doing and allowing (avoiding his Fi). However, meeting Kim personally and seeing a person as vulnerable as Kim in such an awful place suddenly made him feel guilty. Basically, meeting her triggered Chris’ Fi, and he even wishes to return to not caring about anyone in Saigon, but he’s been forever changed by Kim: “I liked my memories as they were, but now I’ll leave remembering her. Just her.” Pure Fi uncomfortably resurfacing after a loop. Also bear in mind that ENFJs are idealistic (Ni) and group oriented (Fe). ENFJs feel empathy in a very universal way, and they understand people as part of groups. However, Chris feels empathy towards Kim as an individual (Fi). He starts to understand her once he hears her backstory and all that she (personally) has gone through. In the song “This money’s yours”, when Kim tells Chris that she has never spent the night with someone intimately, he says “Everyone lies, you just want to get out of here”. This is a very Se-Te response in the context of the scene, as he notices a behavior that is prevalent among other s*x workers (Se) and uses external logic to justify their actions (Te): they are in a miserable situation, and so they look for men like him to escape, since that would be the easiest way to do so. This pragmatism is characteristic of an unhealthy Te user who applies his logic to other people. However, Kim’s shame and sadness trigger his Fi, and he says “Okay, you’re not like that, but I don’t know who you are”. This is a great example of his healthier use of auxiliary Fi, as he starts to see that she is an individual with emotions, and he seeks to know her story in order to understand her actions/feelings. An Fe user would not need to know someone personally in order to feel empathy towards them. Instead, a healthy Fe user would think “She and all of the girls she works with are suffering due to their living conditions (Fe-Se). What can I do to help THEM? (FeNi).” Another example of SeFi is The Telephone Song, in which he finds out that he will have to leave Saigon soon, but instead of thinking ahead (Ni) about where he’ll end up, what will happen with Kim, etc., he decides to enjoy the moment and spent the day with her, free of worries. A healthy ENFJ would struggle to stay so grounded in the moment in a situation like that, without thinking about how the changing circumstance in Saigon will eventually affect his relationship with Kim (as he will have to leave).
