Biographie
(June): Commemorates years of struggle for civil rights and the ongoing pursuit of equal justice under the law for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community, as well as the accomplishments of LGBTQ individuals. It's in June because of the Stonewall riots in June 1969 when police raided a popular LGBTQ gathering place in NYC, and they stood up to them by rioting.
