Tansu Floke (タンス・フロッカ Tansu Furokka), commonly referred to as Mr. Tansu (タンスさん Tansu-san, タンスじーさん Tansu jīsan), is an elderly Gnome scholar and magic user researching curses and magic involved in the dungeon on the Island. He appears to be the advisor to the Lord of the Island on matters involving the dungeon. He is married to Mrs. Tansu, who is also a scholar.
