Biographie
The Trust, is a super quantum computer, created by Campion Sturges to lead and keep control over "The Collective" (atheists), until they are properly settled and it is able to pass on the baton of leadership to someone capable. The Trust commands the collective to do what is in their best interest, in isolation from a refrigerated room. It delegates tasks to each person including the androids, and only has the energy/capacity to predict what is best path for the human atheists, and lead them according to it's predictions. The Trust sets clear rules and boundaries and expects everyone to act accordingly, or be punished.
