[1/2] Right now he is voted as a Fe dom, and have been since I started the book. I was eager to find out who he was, since he was voted as ENFJ 5 and with my poor knowledge found it an interesting type and amused my curiosity, but to be honest, he does not resemble anything of either Fe nor 5. Lysander does not lead with Fe, in no part it is shown that he takes other or society’s values and preferencesas his own. The only pseudo argument i can make in favor of this is that he has the capacity to manipulate others by lying in a convincing way. But that’s it to be honest, he doesn’t show any other sign of Fe, well, if we can call this Fe. In reality, he can do these feats because he was thought in a methodical and logical way. He learned by books and instrunctions on how to do these things, it is not natural for him. He actually says in the books that he learned these things because of her grandmother, but it caused him and increadibly anxiety and stress because it was not natural to him. Also, apart from this, and the fact that he wants to influence the outer world, he does not shown any sign of cognitive ectroversion whatsoever, altough I’m quite sure that he uses Je instead of Pe, making him an IXXJ type. The real dylemma, in my opinion, is between Ni dom or Si dom. But don’t missunderstand me, I’m not saying that he is Si because he values traditions or the old ways, but rather because he does values the impressions that the society left on him, and the order and stability that The Society meant. But if I have to be honest, my argument for Si ends there, I think he is a Ni dom. Altough yeah he reflects upon his past, I think any type can do this, especially Ni and Si users, since both are focused on a narrative or a story that should be constructed or has been constructed. The difference is that Si is a sensorial function, so it puts meaning on what actually happen, it takes an impression of a sensorial thing, while Ni takes more the essence of things and how those things develop afterwards, and in the case of Lysander, he is closer to the latter. He didn’t value The Society just because he was part of it, or because it left an impression, but because the essence of order and stability is the path that he deemed optimal, he clinged to this idea of order that only what he knows would logically work could generate, in this case The Society. With this I can also argue that he prefers Te over Fe, altough he is polite and considerate to lowcolors, he doesn’t really takes their emotions as his, he deemed honorable to do so, he follows ideas that would bring order, that would improve everyones life, systems that will help control people’s in the search for progress and stability, and he actually presents some stereotypical characteristics of Te users, like frustration caused by ignorance or incompetence by others, for example, when Alexander started saying things that were logically inaccurate, he started to get pissed to the point to almost revealing his true identity only because of the ignorance of his cousin. He also shows more Fi than Fe in general, he clinges to things in an deeper emotional and personal but in a more immature way, for example Cassius, Seraphine or his parents. Also, this point is debatable, but he is not a man of action, and he is called pixie for it, in battle he is not really connected to the physical part of it, he actually has to recurr to the minds eye to keep up to other Se users in the physical are such as Darrow, and the minds eye is such an interesting concept that I tend to relate to Ni. It is like the mental visualization and flow neccesary in order to then feel or act in the physical world, it is the perfect combination of NiSe nad only then he can actually be involved in the sensorial realm.
