she's a pure INFP 4w5. Since Rei is also my all time fav anime character, i can say that she fits the 459 tritype better. She's in a constant existential crisis state where she withdraws herself from others. She's involving nanako, kaoru and fukiko into her questioning and often making them uncomfortable. Especially the two scenes where she forces nanako to smoke and the one that she asks nanako if she would die if the person she loved asked her to die with them (which caused nanako to broke down in tears). She doesn't do that to purposefully disturb them but her extreme melancholy causes her to act like this. And the reason why i don't think she's a 468 is because she's not 100% on it's characteristics unlike 459. Yes, she seems to appear original and loyal but that's it. She's not reactive, intense nor direct. Ofc she has some scenes indicating that she has these characteristics but her carelessness on life and lack of emotional expression are more dominant. Only the scenes where she attends to the last Sorority meeting to comfort fukiko and the basketball tournament can be used to justify classifying her as a 468, but i truly believe she's a 459 on all the other scenes.
Biographie
The third member of the "Magnificent Three", a beautiful artist/musician and former basketball player. Nanako attempts to help and befriend her, but it'll be very complicated. Specially due to her... very convoluted relationship with Fukiko.
