I think you guys are taking out of the equation his high Se. He is very sexually active since he is a teenager and has done unconventional sexual things through his life. He used to be a criminal and steal cars. He was a professional motorcycle racer. He is really into high quality organic food, high end audio equipment and designer clothing, basically a sybarite. When talking about his retirement from filmmaking he basically said that his main goal always was to be rich to just have sex and eat food. And lastly but most importantly he makes clear a few times that he doesn't identify with the characters in his two movies and that they are not biographical or semi-biographicals characters.

Vincent Gallo (born April 11, 1961) is an American actor, director, model, musician, painter and former motorcycle racer. Though he has had minor roles in mainstream films such as Arizona Dream, The Funeral and Palookaville, he is most associated with independent movies, including Buffalo '66, which he wrote, directed, scored and starred in and The Brown Bunny, which he also wrote, directed, produced, starred in and photographed. In the early 2000s, he released several solo recordings on Warp Records.
