"Quel type de personnalité est Bill Evans? Bill Evans est un type de personnalité INFJ dans MBTI, 5w4 - sp/sx - 541 dans Enneagram, RLOAI dans Big 5, IEI dans Socionics."
After reading his biography and spending so much time listening to, learning and studying his music, I’m almost certain Bill must have been an INFJ, 5w4. His connection on some inconmensurable, intimate level with the piano was the kind of deep emotional and spiritual bond that INFJ’s form with so few people. I believe his bond was with his instrument. He was a lifelong introvert and an idealist, firmly rooted in his morals and beliefs. The emotions behind not only his playing/composing but also his choices make the F part obvious. Bill suffered greatly I think during his time. I think maybe the only time he truly knew himself was when he played. And the decades of hard, impassioned work learning to sight-read, playing through countless classical pieces and dedicating himself - successfully - to understanding harmony and the piano all indicate strong J attributes. His ability to spend the amount of time that he did at his instrument allowed him to derive such profound meaning from his playing, and due to the INFJ’s ability to “play the extrovert” in order to fulfill their inherent need to do good, he was able to share his music with the world. His gracious and generous sharing of such a sacred thing would have been the fulfillment of the dream that every INFJ chases: to do good for others with the gifts that they have been given.
