To be honest, I thought he was ISTJ for a bit since stereotypically his character is very ISTJ-like given his perfect grades and him being a perfect student but I looked and I didn't see direct Si usage. I also don't see any direct arguments for ISTJ so I'm going to step in. He's more often seen doing directly stereotypical Ni things such as thinking about exactly what his wishes to do so far into the future during the karaoke scene and being the one making plans and generating different ideas to effectively carry out the culture festival. Unless there's some unknown information about Sakamoto that I don't know, I think he comes up with all of the different moves he does on the spot through insight (this is part of what makes the show comedic). I don't think he's referring to any past data or information to come up with that stuff. He's more so winging it and effectively deals with all of the unique issues that arise which makes me feel like inferior Ne doesn't work. His thinking is also extremely lateral which also doesn't work with inferior Ne. Unless someone can show me the Si, I'm not convinced. For tritype I think 152 works quite well. 2x competency (1,5) plus his very dutiful nature with double compliant (1,2). Triple competency is a bit much for him and a 4 for fix wouldn't make sense. He's not double withdrawn and doesn't really have a reactive fix. As for temperament, a pure phlegmatic 1w9 and LII with a stronger Ti subtype doesn't really mix well. As a rule of thumb he at least has a melancholic aspect. Melancholic-Phlegmatic is pretty standard for his type combination but then again he could easily be an exception and be Phlegmatic-Melancholic. All in all, I'm not too sure about his temperament but with everything else I am fairly certain. Also of course ISTJ can be very smart and a lot of them are but I don't see Sakamoto as one in this case. Throughout PDB's lifetime, so many arguments like "x can be cool too" have been used despite them not being any real reasoning. It has gotten old. Sakamoto really doesn't realistically reflect any type either. He's an exaggerated and silly character that no one can possibly be like. Even those who are a similar type (me for example) aren't up to his standards even in the slightest in reality. He is the literal definition of perfect and we humans can't even compete with his levels of coolness. That is a huge point of the show: people looking at him and realizing their imperfection as humans to then improve themselves. We the views should do the same thing. In the end, I'm just voting on what I saw despite all of the absurdity. If someone can point examples out, I'm all ears.
