You run to the gun rack and fight back with everything you've got.Action horror is a subgenre of horror that adds very strong elements of the action genre. The nightmare fuel is real, and the monsters are extremely potent and would be absolutely terrifying in a straightforward horror story, but the difference is, instead of the protagonists being ordinary people in way over their heads, they are prepared to fight back.
