What I liked best about him was that there is not much information about the Captain’s background, and yet he is possibly the most badass legend villain character ever. We only know that he is a werewolf, his name is Hans Gunsche, and that he is a very powerful soldier, an important member of the Millennium, a second-hand lieutenant of the Major himself(he always accompanies the Major), strangely stoic and quiet to the point of mysterious. It’s sad we never got to hear him say a word, and the fact that we never got a glimpse of his past life(before he joined the Major’s forces, etc.). I would’ve liked to see him fighting with Alucard too, as they were both “monsters who wanted to die at the hands of humans.” Well, the Captain got his wish in the end; Seras, a human, ended his life with a silver bullet and he died laughing, knowing that his wish was granted at last.
