Ne is responsible for making quick and creative decisions involving non-standard ideas. he uses his Ne-Si to find a different solution while using the training memories stored by Si. Another example is when he makes a stretcher to carry the sergeant using a rifle and a piece of cloth. And let's not even talk about the scene where he is almost run over by being so absorbed in his thoughts.
