Even though he's a wooden board, he's been shown giving Jonny Ni-like suggestions and insight. Like how he (somehow) knew the reason why Ed was so mad was because he had a pebble in his shoe. Also Plank frequently warns Jonny of Eddy's scams and does so with quite a bit of Te sass. Plank even outsmarted the Edds by tricking them into riding their own unsafe roller coaster. He is one diabolical piece of wood.
