𝗦𝗖𝗣-𝟬𝟰𝟵 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗝 I think that most of us can agree with his dominant usage of Ni. However, there is a constant discussion between INTJ and INFJ voters, and for that reason I decided to write this argument to explain why I think that the actual concensus (INFJ) shouldn't be changed. Most of INTJ voters said that Plague can't be a Fe user because he is constantly discussing with others doctors and disterrumping social harmony. This could be true if he was discussing with them because of his own inner morals (Fi), but in this case, is different. "𝗗𝗿.𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗺: This is hardly a creature at all, doctor, it's not even- 𝗦𝗖𝗣-𝟬𝟰𝟵: (Very agitated) Do not jape with me, sir! You and your colleagues are like so many others, unable to look past minor setbacks to see the salvation taking place before your very eyes. Do you wait to remove rotten timbers until the hall collapses on top of you? No. You find them and you pull them out and replace them with those untouched by rot! And most of all, you do not simply mock the structure because it now looks different to you. It is strong! It is free of disease." If you pay attention to these dialogues, you will notice that SCP-049 is using logic analogies ("Do you wait to remove rotten timbers until the hall collapses on top on you?") instead of focusing on the moral aspects of the situation. The organization's scientist is stating logical and objective facts ("This is hardly a creature at all, doctor."), while Pleague is using his own inner logic to counterattack. This is basically a discussion between a Te user and a Ti user (SCP-049). "𝗦𝗖𝗣-𝟬𝟰𝟵: He… (pauses) The Pestilence presents and progresses in unforeseeable fashions, and has a queer way of- of creeping into the unprepared, and… (breathing becomes heavier) call it what you want, doctor. It was a mercy I did to him. He is cured. 𝗗𝗿.𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻: He is a vegetable! 𝗦𝗖𝗣-𝟬𝟰𝟵: (Pauses) I… I would not expect you to understand. You and your… your ilk have proven time and time again to be not men of science, but men of- of emotion. You cannot appreciate the horrors I have seen, those many millions who have succumbed to the Pestilence and been changed, who-" In this interview, we can observe that SCP-049 has problems to accept objective data (Te+Se) again. You can say that this is because he priorizates his moral compass (NiFi INTJ) over anything, but in fact, he is criticizing them for being ilogicall and not for being inmoral ("You and your… your ilk have proven time and time again to be not men of science, but men of- of emotion"), which disapproves this. We can conclude this and say that Pleague is a Ti user and that his discussions with the members of the organization doesn't prove his usage of Fi and just prove his Ti and his lack of Te, but if you are asking about his Fe usage, I will also explain it. "𝗗𝗿.𝗜𝘁𝗸𝗶𝗻: Have you experienced any remorse for your actions? For the death of Dr. Hamm? 𝗦𝗖𝗣-𝟬𝟰𝟵: (Waves his hand) Ah, yes. Well, the death of a colleague is always regrettable, but in the face of the Pestilence we must be swift, doctor, and act without hesitation. 𝗗𝗿.𝗜𝘁𝗸𝗶𝗻: Dr. Sherman noted in his report that you seemed to be mournful during your initial interview. 𝗦𝗖𝗣-𝟬𝟰𝟵: Mourn- (Pauses) Perhaps. I had not thought that… It is lamentable that a fellow doctor became infected, but the work continues. Regrettable as… as it was, Dr. Hamm's death provided important insight. Living human subjects are the only way to proceed forward, I am decided. My cure is of little use on dead flesh, and I have gleaned all I can from your generous supply of corpses. My desires turn towards tending to those still living who suffer from the disease." Even if he doesn't really feel remorse for killing Dr.Hamn, he still tries to accommodate to the objective values created by society (I had not thought that… It is lamentable that a fellow doctor became infected, but the work continues) and says that the death of a "fellow doctor" is always lamentable. He doesn't say this because he really formed an opinion about this topic (Fi/Ti), he just says this because that's considerated objectively moral (Fe). This also suggests that his goal of curing humanity comes from his Fe and not from his Fi.
Biographie
SCP-049 is one of the most notorious SCPs in Foundation custody. He is a humanoid entity dressed as a Medieval plague doctor, capable of speaking in a variety of languages, though he tends to prefer English or medieval French. While he is generally cordial and cooperative with Foundation staff, 049 will become highly irritated or outright aggressive if he feels that he is around individuals infected with what he calls "The Pestilence", and will attempt to "cure" the individual. 049 "cures" his patients by touching them with his hands, which immediately causes all biological functions to cease. He then performs surgery on the body, turning the victims into mindless, aggressive revenants classified as SCP-049-2. 049 is unable to explain what "The Pestilence" actually is, is confused that the Foundation doesn't know about it, and insists that turning people into 049-2 is necessary to save them. SCP-049-J is a parody of 049, and according to some sources is actually his son.
