Both of Robb's series and book versions were hard to type. While being a clear Je type, I was struggling to see whether he's ESFJ or ESTJ. Then I took a closer look at his book description. He is very quick to assume the role of a lord. GRRM even distinguishes between "Robb the lord" and "Robb the boy", which heavily implies a significant influence of him acting on outside expectations. Does he act on commonly held values, or some logical standard? To see this, we need to take a look at his inferior function, a poorly developed and unconscious aspect of his personality. While the show is way more vague on that, the book is way more clear on that. Robb's inferior Fi reaches a breaking point when hearing the news of Bran and Rickon's alleged deaths. His unconscious yet underdeveloped sentiments escape through his marriage with Jeyne Westerling and, as Catelyn sees it, substituting his brothers with his brothers-in-law. This is obviously a very hasty and immature decision for Robb the lord. This goes hand-in-hand with Jung's concept of the shadow. Another sign of Robb's inferior Fi, and proof that he does not use Fe, is his execution of Rickard Karstark. He attempts to treat the execution impersonally, rather than adapting to commonly held values. If Robb were a Fe dominant, he would notice the potential effect it would have on the Karstarks, and would choose a more appropriate punishment. He clings on to universal rules and constants - outside facts - rather than social conventions and values. Due to his awful Fe, he lost the war despite winning every battle. One could also argue that his belief that he could make peace with the Freys is a sign of failing to read social values - especially those within House Frey - and neglecting them. Overall, book Robb is one of my favorite characters in the books so far. Cheers to The Young Wolf and King in the North.

Robb Stark is the eldest son of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully and is the heir of House Stark to Winterfell and the north. He is called the Young Wolf by friend and foe alike.
