6w5 sp/sx 694 while i was originally considering sx/sp 964 because i used to believe that he was a blueprint sx9, the reality is that shinku attaches himself to others for his own satisfaction and peace of mind. this is evident with dracul and most especially molly. shinku is an incredibly selfish person and we know this because we play in his pov. we're given a window to his thought process. he perfectly fits sp more than sx because he gets close to others to feel safer and better about *himself*. even though he genuinely wished to help molly, he admitted to himself that a huge chunk of himself was doing this just to compensate for what he did to akari. sp6 perfectly encapsulates this—his anxiety and his need for warmth. being connected to someone in such bleak circumstances helps ease his anxiety. while he isn't as heavily dependent on ismene and he was with dracul and molly, he still valued her a lot as a friend. this is relevant to me believing he's sp/sx over sx/sp because he broke dracul's pin for the dare despite knowing that it was what held his and ismene's promise together; because he prioritized his self-preservation over his friendship with ismene. despite this, however—shinku very clearly wanted to reconcile with her; because ismene was his very first friend in the game alongside dracul. he had attached himself to dracul specifically because dracul's presence gave him warmth and made him feel safe. i also believe that it's ironic that both dracul and molly were both incredibly similar. it's interesting how both of the people that shinku became scarily dependent on were both daydreaming adults that 'needed to grow up someday'.
