"Quel type de personnalité est Rika? Rika est un type de personnalité INFJ dans MBTI, 2w3 - so/sx - 216 dans Enneagram, SLOAI dans Big 5, EIE dans Socionics."
Rika is indubitably a social four. Now, it's not hard to rationalise SO2, at least on the surface: she elevates her image in a state of martyrdom, capriciously manipulating others and servicing her self-interest under the guise of saintliness. However, the root here is not an excess of pride: it is envy and shame. Let us take a look at Rika's disposition. She is excessively neurotic, with insecurity that practically leeks through her. Already, this evades the impermeable image of an SO2, who appears unbothered and above it all. There are myriad self-deprecating dialogue examples in which she flaunts her instability and fractured ego, an eternal victim, ever self-injurious. All of this is a consequence of her abusive home life and religious trauma. She deeply internalised the idea that she was demonic, corrupted, evil and undeserving of grace or mercy. A SO4 is one who feels fundamentally inferior and she perfectly captures this: "The world thinks that showing the devil within is bad. Everyone will point fingers at me and try to get rid of me. That's what the so-called justice is." While it is true that the RFA generally reveres her as charismatic, kind and elusive, she does not at all share the same sentiments about herself. Rika even states that this portrayal of herself feels disingenuous and uncomfortable, avoiding those who "live in the light" due to finding comfort in her own darkness. This sense of self-persecution and perpetual victimhood is entirely characteristic of envy, sulking in her shadows, perceiving The Other as free, unburdened and solar. That is not to say that Rika is a shy, passive character: SO4s do possess a false sort of self-satisfaction, a superiority/inferiority duality catalysed by their feelings of isolation as well as their tendency towards introspection, extreme understanding and loneliness. This flimsy sort of eminence fuels her cultish sovereignty: she has suffered, so she understands others better. In turn, her saviour complex - that which seems the focal point of her alleged being SO2 - is blatant compensation for a feeling of worthlessness and not at all contradictory to SO4. Rather, it's quite symptomatic of it, as highlighted by the E4 book: "Already in childhood, the social E4 feeds the illusion that he can save the people around him, even if they hurt and humiliate him. He believes that by saving them, giving them a chance at redemption, he can save himself." Rika seeks out the wounded and helpless due to her feelings of rejection and fear of abandonment. She craves, so desperately, to be loved. Through forming Mint Eye, she situates herself in a place of social prominence to feed her bottomless pit of validation-seeking, extending her twisted perception of help unto others as a way of sustaining her fragile sense of self-worth. Her abuse of V and their relationship as a whole is indicative of her innate feelings of lack and fear of abandonment. The motif of Jihyun as the sun - something which never goes away and is unconditional in its light - is relevant here. They also further establish the contrast between Rika's view of V and herself - self-referentially, a figure of darkness and decay. Envy in the SO4 manifests as an endless comparison, a perfectionistic ache for betterment.
