Even if his outward nature is very stand-offish and crude, he has an undeniable care for others and is one of the most authentic characters (imo) in the persona series. The interesting thing about him is that he's kind once you get to know him better, and when you give him a chance. This is clearly shown in the social link in persona 3 portable, where he genuinely is interested in talking to the femc and wants to know how she is doing. He senses that she's working very hard, and overall, shinjiro is very down to earth due to this fact. SPOILERS: When shinjiro warned ken that he'd hold the same guilt that shinjiro has felt ever since killing ken's mother if he 'avenged' her by killing him, it was evident that he was saying this out of feeling, how it affected him in the past and how it would then affect ken (Example I found online: Fi weighs inner life and feeling before considering the outward repercussions). Another thing that shows how shinji is a fi user, is **also** the guilt he holds and how he thinks it'll affect others. It was very evident that he didn't want to hurt femc, regardless she broke down his walls anyways. Some other things that I thought were important to add: Shinji has been proven to act on his feelings multiple times, however trying to repress them. (ex: He feels secretly happy to see the femc once she wants to hang out with him.) I'm really shabby at this because I haven't used this website in half a year (due to repetitive absences from school), but hopefully this somewhat holds up.

Shinjiro Aragaki is a character from Persona 3. He is a student who rarely attends Gekkoukan High School and a founding member of the SEES. A reliable and serious character whose cold exterior masks his weaker, gentler self, Shinjiro's difficult past weighs him down, causing him to constantly push others away with a tough-guy act.
