Fume-shroom is a mushroom which attacks zombies by firing strong fumes at them. In most games, fumes fired by Fume-shroom are able to pierce through multiple zombies, as well as through various zombie armor. The exact mushroom Fume-shroom is based on is never explicitly stated, however the mushroom Fume-shroom most resembles is the emperor webcap (Cortinarius archeri), a species of mushroom in the genus Cortinarius, due to its purple color and general large size.
