i first made this guess when i knew almost nothing about typology, but even now i think e3 makes a lot more sense for him. i can understand the 6 consensus, due to the almost paranoid lengths he went to in order to prevent himself from being found out, but his original actions against both wright and gramarye were a direct result of his desire to reach glory as a defense attorney by any means possible, which was undermined when gramarye rejected his defense. it's also a bit cliche, but he fits the three's core value of deceit to a T-- despite being the one who had orchestrated wright's disbarring, he was also the only person who voted against it JUST to remain in wright's good favor and push all suspicion off of himself (which could be interpreted as an act of self-preservation typical of a 6, but also plays into the desire to maintain his reputation that would be more indicative of a 3).
