Currently rewatching this show and I'm messing around with some possible voting options for all the MCs. There are a lot of INTP votes, but I'm still voting INFP. He's got major Fi - some examples include breaking up with Winnie over tabs vs. spaces and the "right" development environment (he had a principle that was violated) and his extreme sensitivity to criticism. The contrast with Gilfoyle (Ti dom, either INTP or ISTP) is very apparent here - Richard is simply not good at foreseeing future outcomes the way Ti users would do, and he can't really detach himself from situations. He most do what he thinks is "right" and postpones actions until he makes decisions in line with his values. INTPs may be common among tech guys, but to be fair, I'm still voting INFP.
