After some reflection, I think ISFJ makes the most sense as his MBTI type. He has a really beautiful Fe sort of interaction style in how he’s tried to build bridges in the past and is at this point aiming to be a light for other struggling queer people. And I think his Si played a big part in his former devotion to the Mormon church (and why he tried to marry women over and over despite not being attracted to them; he felt like it was just something that was expected of him and the right thing to do according to his faith). I’d say that combined with inferior Ne is what played a part in him staying repressed for so long, only foreseeing negative consequences about what would happen if he came out. And then when he did, it was so much more freeing than he could’ve imagined. He’s finally exploring that side of himself and is a really great example of what a liberated, healthy ISFJ can look like. 💙

At ten years old, he won the children's division of the Utah Talent Competition leading to other television singing appearances.When he was twelve years old, Archuleta became the Junior Vocal Champion on "Star Search 2". In 2008, he finished second on the seventh season of "American Idol".
